Man Shot, Killed After Unprovoked Attack on Armed Driver at McDonald’s

A wise man once said, when you play stupid games, you win stupid prizes. Thirty-six-year-old Brandon Turner found that out the hard way on Saturday night when he attacked an armed driver in a Florida McDonald’s parking lot, completely unprovoked.

The driver was sitting in his truck eating when Turner walked up and began attacking him, according to Fox News. During the struggle, the driver managed to reach the gun he kept concealed in his vehicle, and shot one round, ending Turner’s life.

The suspect was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

I guess you could say the perp got “McWasted.”

“We got a caller on the line. Advises that they had shot someone. That a male had come up and started punching him in the front seat of his truck so he shot him in the chest,” law enforcement described the incident, as reported by WESH2.

The man from the truck who made that call was sitting in a work truck eating. Deputies say Turner approached the truck and started punching him through an open window. They say the attack was unprovoked.

Turner then tried to pull him out of the truck. That’s when investigators say the victim, who is a licensed gun owner, pulled out his weapon and shot Turner.

The sheriff’s office said that the initial evidence gathered points to a case of mistaken identity. That the man Turner was punching was not the man he was apparently looking for.

At this time, the driver has not been arrested and his identity has not been released.

As Democrats continue to push more and more control laws, stories like this prove exactly why we value our 2nd Amendment right to bear arms. In this situation, the driver’s life was saved, and the attacker got exactly what he ordered. However, without his gun, the outcome could have been much different for the man who lived to tell the tale.

Moral of the story: Stay strapped. You never know just when you can be attacked, even enjoying a burger and minding your business in your own vehicle.
